Walking barefoot can improve your health
Grounding is a really cool way to connect with the Earth's energy. You ground by being barefoot and walking on grass, sand, mud, and dirt. Grounding may sound weird to some people, but there are some great benefits to grounding. Grounding can help:
- Reduce your inflammation, stress, and cortisol
- Improve your immunity, energy and mood
A lot of people don't think to do this but if you walk barefoot on grass or sand, even for a little bit, you will feel the difference it makes.
Reading
Reading is good for your brain
Reading is such a good hobby to pick up on. So many people love to read, and others don't even think about grabbing a book, and instead just scroll on their phones. I love reading books whenever I can, it is really comforting and something I look forward to. It is actually really good to read because there are many benefits to reading such as:
- Strengthening your mind
- Improving your creativity
- Strengthening your memory
- Reducing stress
- Improving your knowledge
Restful Sleep
Sleep is healthy
Getting the proper rest your body deserves is essential for living a healthy life. Sleep is extremely important at any age. Lack of sleep can cause fatigue, anxiety, affect your mood, thinking, and motivation. You will feel so much better if you got the right amount of sleep that your body needs. Everyone is different but you should be getting around 7-9 hours of sleep. That number also may be lower or higher for others. I usually get around 8 hours of sleep, but I can also sleep in for 10 hours if I let myself.
